Every Previews Feature, in One Place
Previews is a browser extension that adds more than 60 quality-of-life features to Twitch, YouTube and Kick - live hover previews, player controls the platforms never shipped, a sidebar that works the way you want, and chat tools that make it faster and safer to use. The ones below have their own page explaining what they do and how to turn them on.
What Previews actually is
Previews is one browser extension covering Twitch, YouTube and Kick, built and maintained since February 2020. It does not collect or sell user data, and it has been Featured by the Chrome Web Store, recommended by Mozilla's add-on team, and covered by Dexerto.
Most of what it does exists because a platform left an obvious gap. Twitch has no way to rewind a live stream, no viewer-side opt-out from raids, and no setting to stop the player dropping your quality when you tab away. YouTube loops Shorts until you scroll. Kick has no playback speed control at all. Each of those is a small annoyance on its own, and collectively they are the reason people end up with five single-purpose extensions installed.
The features below are grouped the same way they are grouped inside the extension's settings panel, so what you read here maps directly onto what you will see after installing. Every feature is individually toggleable - nothing is all-or-nothing, and turning something off returns the platform to its default behaviour.
Which platforms does each feature support?
Support is per-feature, not per-extension. Some features work on all three platforms, some only make sense on one. Each card below is tagged with the platforms it covers, and each feature page has a table breaking down main player, embeds and, where relevant, YouTube Shorts.
Worth knowing: where a platform already does something well, Previews stays out of the way rather than duplicating it. Keyboard seeking is offered on Twitch and Kick but not on YouTube, because YouTube's live streams already have it. That is why a few features are tagged with fewer platforms than you might expect.

There is more in the settings panel
The pages above cover the features people search for most, but they are not the whole extension. The settings panel has dozens of smaller toggles that do not have a page yet - things like auto-extending the sidebar, hiding the volume percentage indicator, muting auto-playing videos, incognito chat, and syncing your settings and favourites across devices.
If you are looking for something specific and cannot find it here, it is worth installing and opening the settings panel - there is a good chance it is already in there.
